Linwood-Lafayette Senior Apartments

Mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services for a new three-story, 39,390 SF mixed income senior housing apartment building with a total of 37 units of rental housing for senior citizens ages 55 and up. Seven of the apartments are fully accessible for mobility impaired or hearing and vision impaired residents. In addition, seven of the units are permanent supportive housing for seniors who have intellectual/developmental disabilities who live independently.

The building includes a community room on the main level with a kitchen area; a computer room and TV lounge/activities room; laundry facilities on each floor; and management offices. The $11.4 million project has low-income units for households whose incomes range from below 30% of area median income (AMI) to 100% of AMI. The project was designed to meet Enterprise Green Communities criteria (HCR project).
