Highmark Stadium – MEP/FP Engineering Services

Buffalo Engineering has provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design and construction administration services for annual Capital Improvement Projects at Highmark Stadium. Total project costs typically ranged from $3–$3.5 million per year.
Fieldhouse / Training Center Projects:
- New fire alarm system for the fieldhouse
- Domestic hot water pressure booster system for training center and fieldhouse
- Replacement of building hot water boilers and therapy pool heaters with condensing-type units
- Make-up air system upgrades for the training center
- New emergency generator for the fieldhouse
- BMS system upgrades in the training center
- Cooling system upgrades for the training center server room
Additional Stadium Projects:
- New press box HVAC, data, and phone upgrades
- Lighting and plumbing upgrades for 32 sideline suites and 14 suites in the former administration building
- Administration building pressure booster system
- Locker room HVAC upgrades
- Field lighting and switchgear
- Electrical panel replacement in east mechanical room
- Chiller and cooling tower replacements (red/goal line)

- New 33,500 sf, $4.1 million Commissary Building
- New 13,000 sf, $2.5 million Operations Building

- HVAC upgrades to west end suites
- Post-game interview room renovation
- Parking lot lighting upgrades
- Restroom renovations
- Fire alarm system replacement in main bowl, Coors Light Sports Bar, concessions, and former administration building
